The winters in Chicago can turn a bit dark and dreary. Yet, I just finding something really interesting about how the ice and slush leave a history. Also included are some photos from time in Colorado and Europe.
Hi Derek--I came across your name on LinkedIn while looking for a former contact at Baxter Healthcare. I was surprised to see a photography link and decided to explore. Both my Dad and my husband have been ardent amateurs photographers, especially when it came to getting unusual shots out of nature. (I've got some nice shots of the Oregon woods now at home.)
Anyway, just wanted to say I really liked these. It's nice to find art in an otherwise dreary season. (Now if you can come do something with the rain that doesn't want to stop here in Maryland...!) I'm a big fan of what can be done in b/w (or relatively little color) so I think I'm leaning towards the this item and the next one in your third row. Anyway, I'm wandering away from the brochure I'm supposed to be writing, so thanks for the break.
